The Campus Grants program provides funding to an individual school up to $5,000. Grants of $5,000 each may be awarded in three categories – elementary, middle school and high school.
The purpose of the Campus Grant is to:
- Provide financial assistance for schools to substantially improve student achievement.
- Implement comprehensive school improvement programs that are based on reliable research and effective program practices, which include an emphasis on basic academics and parent involvement.
- Stimulate school-wide changes rather than a fragmented approach to reform.
- Support program aims that enable all children to meet challenging district content and student performance standards.
For more information about applying please visit our application site here. It is important for the goals and objectives of the applications to address one or more of the goals and objectives of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District.
Projects that are funded will be evaluated to determine the successful achievement of the stated objectives and to consider the possibility of replication for other schools. The evaluations of the funded programs will be provided to the Board of Directors of the Educational Foundation. This information will also be shared with school district personnel.
